hard work pays off !!

Postby rtse4406pack » 03 Apr 2008 22:07

hey guys i entered my 1970 chevelle ss 396 car in my first indoor show. the show was performance world 2008 in march,it is the biggest and best indoor show in the toronto area here in ontario canada.

i know it is not a Challenger or mopar but i wanted to share the news with my freinds on this forum.i had to satisfy my urge to see if my hard work would pay off with good fair strict judging.

car did real well winning "class champion" & "best original gm" in the show (got cash with this award and a special glass etched trophy). i am very pleased with the results as i put a few years work in detailing a surviver car with only one repaint and no frame off resto!!

next year i will be entering the challenger, hope it does as well as the chevelle.

attached are a few of the pics from the show and one of the ss on the driveway.

A guy I know once had a ยด69 Chevelle. He offered me to buy it but I turned the offer down. I always regret that decision when I see a Chevelle.

Pic: The car as it looked like when he bought it. He repainted it in the same colour combo as on your car.

Lovely car!
