The End of the World Rod Run. Long Beach, Washington

Postby patrick » 10 Sep 2007 1:17

Here's what the wife and I went and checked out this weekend. I'm still computer challenged, so here are the Pic's with some Cap's.These are all exceptional Mopar's except for one. It's a real Ford Cobra. Not a kit. Other than that, I took picture's of the best Mopar's there. I couldn't tell you how many car's total but, it was about 40 acre's jam packed! :thumbsup:It took us most of the day to check it all out, and I'm sure we missed half anyway. We thought about going back today but opted for home. Cruized last night 'til the cop's started getting fiesty. Then we got out while the getten was good. Check this out. In the afternoon, my wife decided she needed a Iced Mocha. So, I got her an iced Mocha. She spill's the thing on my carpet going down the road. Undoe's her seat belt for, about two block's cleaning the stuff up off the floor with napkin's, shirt's, what ever. Bicycle State Cop pulls us over and sight's her for no seatbelt. :s021: Anybody out there ever got pulled over by a 18 speed bike before? :tears: Not too Macho :o Beside's that, it was funner than Hell.

Hey Patrick, nice Chally. Now I know what to look out for. I had a '72 340 4 gear many years ago. Have you ever checked out the local car club scene? I'm in the Chrysler R/T club, we're all pretty laid back. A bunch of us go up to Seattle a couple times a year and take away all their hardware. http://www.chryslerrtclub.com/index.htm

I don't recognize many of those cars except this one. It's my buddy Mark, he has a just as nice #'s matching '69 383 4 gear Dart as well.

They had to have some serious 'coin' in that thing! Bet the engine was at least 40k.

So much money. So little taste.

The wheels are too big and look stupid.

Not my bag either Dave. I thought the craftsmanship was exemplary but I am not into the "phat look". I do enjoy learning about the drivelines those cars utilize. And it was at SEMA so I thought the PNW guys saw it.

Yeah Danny I remember the Toyo girls! I just wondered whether you saw that car there at the show. I like the original look with performance enhancements out of sight or stone stock is cool too. I also thought it unusual that it was a home job done by father son team.
