Very cool!
Thanks for posting. If you happen to find another one then I am willing to buy it from you. Will $1.5 be enough?
Btw; Not far from they way your car looks, right? Roughly only the white vinyl roof and the front bumper guards, or?

Well, I can´t compete with the ultra-cool "you got soul"-cover
so I guess I have to settle with some scans of my Primal Scream "Vanishing point" cd-cover. I hope you will like them.
I wonder whos car it is? Does anybody know? You can´t see the registration plate on any of the pic´s so there is no easy way to find out....
Cheers
Chris

Ran across this one yesterday. Norwegian artist Thomas Dybdal, I don't know his music and didn't buy the CD. But his Tee is definitely showing a 71 Challenger

Yep, did that to avoid copyright problems with Cooper I suppose.
I remember the photoshoot session was long and difficult. At first, all the pics turned out green. They really had a hard time finding good lighting and getting the car blue in the pics.

Cool, Red Raven, only two Challengers in Ireland! Wow. Thats pretty Impressive. Bet you will get a lot of attention with that one! Especially with the chicks!
So you are a Metal Rocker? It's all I listen too. I have to listen everday to that country western stuff and it's maddening. It's driving me insane!
When I get home I usually put on some Metallica or Ronnie James Dio to "clear me head"

You mean there's people who Dont? Cretins,
Yeah, Slayer, Scorpions, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Deep Purple, Yes, Jethro Tull, I also like some of the "newer" stuff, Seven Mary Three, Metallica ect.. remember Warlock? That chick was badazz that sang for them, not really into the new alternative or hip hop scene, not that there's anything wrong with it. I live be the creed,"If it's too loud you're too old"!

Yet again there are romours of Led Zep doing a one off show and maybe a tour. This time it sounds more credible. If i find anything out I will let you know. But not until after i have made sure I have my tickets first!
AC/DC (the Bon Scott years) are my all time favorite band.

Bon Scott!!AC/DC, how could I forgot that one. They too Rock the house down and are one of my all time favorites. I would have loved to see Led in Concert. Wonder if Jimmy Page still lives in Aleister Crowley's old castle.

From an ad:
VINTAGE 1970, record album lp entitled Drag Sounds available only through Scat Pack Headquarters(originally cost $4.50 + 25 cents for handling and postage). On the back it states, "Scat Pack Headquarters, P.O. Box 86 Farmington, Mich. 48024." Also on the back, "Hot Off The Strip...Stock Cars, Super Stockers, Gas Coups, Fuel Coups, AA Fuel Rails" and "Thrill To: Squealing Slicks, Exhaust Overlap, Higher Cams, Nitro Burning Supercharged Engines, Gear Changes." On the front is Dick Landy's Dodge Challenger doing a wheelie.
Cool, eh?

Ever since I become aware of the existance of this record, I have been searching for it (2006-2013?). From time to time I have been searching for it on ebay, but no luck until somewhere around 2013. Guess if I was surprised when I found it in a record shop only a few blocks away from where I live. I got it for $1 but I would have been prepared to pay 20 times as much. They really made my day.
The second pic shows a remake of the same LP. It is from 2007. If you are intrested in buying it, just type "you got soul" (including quotation-marks) in the search-field on ebay.

For some time I have been collecting miscellaneous Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler stuff. Among them are promo records. Beeing a collector is not easy: On one hand, you don´t want to reveal what you collect because it might stiffen the competition. On the other hand, you want to show what you got. Not to brag. To me it is the hunt that is intresting and encouraging. The value of what I got is of minor importance.
Now I am starting to feel quite content with what I got and I am not so keen to buy every record I find.
If you are intrestent in buying/selling/trading simlar items then just drop me a mail.
Dodge 1956 Conquest Promo record.
