I will try to find my paperwork tomorrow.

Have a think about how long you want to stay and what you want to do while here. I can help out with accommodation at mine if needed but could only fit you inside for a few days because my place is very small. Unless a tent in the back yard is OK?

My plan is still to drive down on Saturday and hopefully meet you guys at the "Dog and Duck" for dinner Saturday night.

The "Dog and Duck" is the pub attatched to the Premier Inn Motel. Jim Wilson will be there and usually Tony O pops in for dinner Saturday night too.

When you guys get to the Premier Inn please book a dinner table for us all and we can celibrate my 52nd birthday with a few drinks and a good dinner. :D

If it is still OK with you Wayne I will crash in your room Sat night on the sofa or the floor. I will bring a sleeping bag.

Sunday will be the only day I will be at the track. I plan to have a few easy runs in the Corvette just for fun.

Sunday night Drew and Lisa will be getting a lift up to the North East in Andy Robinson's big RV. I will speed ahead to drop off the Vette at my place and use the Grand Cherokee to collect Drew and Lisa from either Andy's place to the North of me or somewhere on the road a bit closer to mine.

Does all that sound OK with you guys??

Yes I will be coming down solo and Diana will be at home playing piano and looking after Billy. :D

I aim to get to the pub by around 7pm. I can't go to the track Saturday night as they will charge me for Saturday entry if it is before Midnight even though all the track action would have finished hours before. A few of my mates have had arguments at the gate over that issue in the past.

Besides. I will be pissed by 9pm.

I won't be there this year, few French guys are crossing the pond this time, and I don't have a roadworthy Mopar at the moment. This might be the time I receive my new transmission if I'm lucky.

Where is the nearest hotel? Not that it matters to me cos I live so close and want to stay for the Saturday night party anyway, plus I will have my Challenger there and won't wanna leave it, which I'll have to if I've had a few beers, so I think I'm camping with me bro.................. could take me Dodge dayvan tho, be more comfy than a poxy tent

There are a few B&Bs around but most people stay at the Premier Inn in Wellingbourgh. It is a 20min drive and right next to Tescos who sell 99 RON fuel. :D
