So far it looks as if the weather will be kind to us. How many of your "team" will come over for the EuroNats do you think?

Keep up the good weather

My buddy with the Charger and me with the Challenger have the plans to come if we can reschedule some other things. Tomorrow we know for sure if we make it or not as we're waiting on some last business calls.

Keep you informed.

By the end of this week it should be 28-30 degrees C. But with that much heat and moisture there is always a chance of the odd shower or thunder storm. I don't think we are expecting any persistant rain though. So it should be a good weekend.

Unfortunately me and my buddy can not attend the Nats this year. We tryed what we could but business won't let us go this time. We have to much work on our deck and it's still the business what makes the cars possible.

Real bummer though. :s005:

At least make some fun and show us pics you guys who are able to go.

That is a shame Hans. I will take plenty photos this time.

Weather reports are pretty good too but they are expecting the ocasional shower (as I thought) and one or two of those showers might be quite heavy.
But between the showers there should be plenty of hot sunshine. 8)

I'm back.

Exhausted and HOT!

I need a long soak in a cool bath.

Great weekend. Not a drop of rain. No idea what the official temps were but it must have been around 29 C (85 F) and humid with it. Way too hot for a Northern monkey like me.

Great turnout of cars.
Fantastic meeting all the usual faces and some new ones.

Wayne (RedRaven) had a terrible ordeal getting there (full story to follow) but, fingers crossed, he will make it home to ireland OK tonight without causing an emergency situation or even having to push his Challeger home.

His ferry leaves at 2am local time tonight (It is 9:50pm here as I write this) and the other Irish lads have promised me they will be keeping a close eye on him this time so they can make sure he gets home.

What a weekend! :s008:

You're turn next year Eddie.

Quote from Jim Wilson of the organising committee;
"This was far and away the biggest turnout for any Nat’s ever. I am told the Mopar EuroNat’s is now the biggest ‘door slammer’ event in Europe, and the biggest Mopar event in the world outside of the USA and Canada".

I have to say. I could not believe the number of cars that turned up.

I hardly saw any of the track action myself. I spent most of the three days walking around and talking to people. I am so tired right now. I think i will have to have a nap after lunch.

You really should post some photos of how the car was before you started work on it. You have done some fantastic work on that car to get it looking that good. 8)

dave,if i had a scanner i,d put the pics up but sadly i dont at one point it was quite scary to look at with no quarters, bootlid, tail light panel, just a boot floor , roof, floor pan and front frame and as i said even the top cowl was cut off , if your at hot rod drags il bring my photo build up , a long haul and many quiet nights in the garage but more than worth it , i think you once said most people would give there right arm to be in a 70 chall , how true that is . pic is from camping at the pod good to meet up with a few guys from here to and glad to hear red raven got home safely good o n ya dave for helpin the lad out
