I'm sure, he's seen it. We should have shown the movie in Greenville. If I didn't know any better, one would think it was filmed there. Edco could have been the star. LOL!

Of course I have seen it. Many times.

And I have been white water rafting in the Canadian Rockies before. Which was similar but more fun.

Well i do not understand why Wayne is refusing to let me have any of the photos or video clips we recorded on our trip.

I thought the idea was that we all put our photos together on the hard drive so we could all share the images?

If I had known I was not going to get any of the images i would have taken more myself and not bothered recording any video. :(

Sorry, but I expected it. I had a professional Audio Visual Engineer at school ready to compile, edit and dub the entire trip with the downloaded videos he had on my LapTop then after a few days the Image Mixer denied me access to the videos. Wayne said he would 'take care of it' I did the same as you Dave and had to use Andy's and Pats photos. :? "C'Mon Shake&Bake give us our 'fix' :s016:

We were supposed to be writing an article about our trip for the MMA club magazine. Wayne has messed me about something terrible and we have missed the deadline for the next issue now.

I am going to write it myself now. I have submitted part one to the editor which is just the bit about getting from Eddies to Drew's in Denver and the little cruise we did. I have a few photos I can submit to go with the article but some of you other guys have better ones.

Hey guys,
Sorry I aint been about much....Ive been concentrating on keeping my job and family afloat, there some serious things happening within the company I work for...Its a bit scary, guys with families Ive worked with for years are being canned left right and centre.

I did say it would take a while but it would be worth it and I promised that I would send copies of the pics and vids we took and I will keep that promise.

I truly appriciate your patience.

If I have disappointed or let any of you down thus far Im sorry and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me, I think I owe you guys alot and it hurts to think that Ive pissed you off because of this.

As it should always be.

I just wish you had come clean about the pressure you were under at the start and taken up my offer to take care of some of your commitments. That would have been better than repeatedly letting me down without explanation.

By coming on this trip you put yourself into a very difficult position both at home and financially. More so than any of us. I hope it was worth it for you. I am not sure that it was.

I have my fingers crossed for you though and I know you are the type of guy that will work things out eventually. Just hang in there until you come out the other side of this. There will be light at the end of the tunnel eventually.

Postby drewcrane » 09 Mar 2010 5:39

dam glad were were not our trip

,this is a small disaster, since there is no other road east west in the rockies!

yes we were on this very road just 6 months ago,Glenwood canyon, and yes kowalski was here too just a different road!

http://dscriber.com/home/1309-the-i-70- ... tures.html

history says the native americans never went in this canyon due to rock slides

Rock-n-Roll!!! :s006: We experience rock slides here in the Gorge, all the time. But not like that. How often does a slide of this purportion happen there? I'd hate to get caught in a mess like that! :s007:

it happens 3 or 4 times a year ,there was a guy that lost his family, 2 kids and his wife in the same canyon the boulder crushed there car and he was the only survivor, and the night that this slide happened , he was on that very same road just 2 hours before the slide, so yes it happens here alot especially with the warmer tamps loosen the rocks

,there was a bus on one of the passes that a boulder tore it open like a can opener, 3 people died,

a little closer to me the town George town(we were there) was where my family homesteaded(from Ireland) ,there was a rock slide that killed 2 of my cousins, while they slept a boulder came down and destroyed there home and them too! so yes ITS THE ROCKIES
