Sounds like our sequel could be better than our original! I'm definately going to try to make it.

Is this the cafe and petrol station we took photos at?

I thought not when I compared them but Ronny seems to think so.

We met a guy in Goldfield and he told us the location of that old station was a few miles beyond Goldfield en route to vegas, he said all that was left were foundations and the pump bases.

That is another station altogether you are talking about there. That is the one the girl fills his tank at.

The one I am on about is right at the begining of the film when the bulldozers come into town. It is also in the backgound when Kowalski turns around at the start.

Maybe the left side was constructed with wood, instead of cinder block like the rest of it and just blew away with the Cisco wind. It looked like someone kept horses inside for awhile. Maybe they dismantled it before it caved in, to protect the horses. Just a theory. :s006: Maybe they just stored horse manuer in there. :s024:

You can see there was something attatched there, at one time. And the roofline does match but, pretty much general construction of the time. :s023:

Ah THIS one is the gas station at the beginning of the film. Don't remember seeing it standing when we were there though. But I was looking at the wrong end of town so possibly missed it?

Haha thanks for the offer. It looks quite good and I'm excited to do it. If you've seen my build thread or the talk about the transaxle, you know I am now a Looooooong way away from fitting on a front spoiler.
