I just installed a FBO ignition system,(.85 Ohm Ballast, 40KV coil, Cap, Rotor, kept the Orange transistor but have his as a spare,,I didnt want to tear into my glovebox where mines hidden). Kept my old dizzy which I have curved already for a quick advance with a lot of initial dialed in for better idling and starting. Still waiting on the Pro-Max carb parts but I'm almost 99.9% sure it will cure my low speed problems, if not we'll just have to run the bitch fast all the time! --forgot to mention,,thanks for the cables Bob!

Just on a practical note for me.

If we do run (even more) short of time and it looks touch and go for me getting to the airport on time would it be possible to fly from Denver to Indianapolis at short notice? That would save me a day.

yes our air port is DIA International, for info , but i think if you guys get here mon. ,and we head out that after noon or even tues. we can make alot of time in one day so even if we decide to go all the way

, we should make it there by thursday, and we need to be back to denver no later than sat. afternoon,so you guys can be back in indy by mon morn

.it all depends on how long the drive is from indy to denver if you guys drive non stop, it will be 18 hours,i am looking to see you guys here in denver monday morning the sept 28 th, i did find a flight just in case it leaves sunday at 6 pm denver to indy $91.00 usd,so that is an option

how many people are we having we need to set a list of names if possible, a soon as possible it less that 2 months guys its close

:

That gives me more confidence on being able to get home in case of breakdowns or something. Thanks.

At the end of the day, if I do miss my return flights, I will get home somehow. Have plastic - will travel.

Yeah, I was doing that too! Anyways,,it's all back together.I had to fab a ballast Res. bracket for Don's Ballast which is much larger than the OEM MoPar piece. I would also like a set of FireCore Wires but these MSD wires will work fine. If I remember right on 37 degree double flared ends with brass fittings,,tighten it tight then loosen then re-tighten to seal it right?

Eddie try the FBO, ECU, when you get a chance. ( :s006: too many abbreviations) I think it is the integral part of the package. I haven't had to use the orange box that is me spare fortunately, but would like to See the difference.

I am dumping the expensive MSD unit from my car and fitting the FBO ECU instead. Just a straight swap on your car Eddie so I think you should try it.

Well if you are going to drive around with "'70 Colorado license plate number OA-5599" on your car I would expect to get pulled over by the law no matter where in the world I was.

Although I had to drive 300 miles from London to my house with one 1982 Texas licence plate when I first got my Challenger imported without any problems with the law. Although one policeman did a double take at me but just shook his head and walk away. He must have had a lot on his plate.
