Nice trailer that Eddie. :D

It's better than the old horsebox me and two mates used to camp in one weekend when i was young and stupid. And didn't mind smelling of horse shit.

That was 2 minute google search! I'm sure I can find one like it locally, I think it's going to be my only choice. I cant seem to find any for rent or lease. But we have some time before the good weather and they;ll pop up

But, do me a favor Dave. I want to ask my loan officer at my Bank I deal with if I can qualify for a loan of 7500.00 approx. to buy the trailer, before you commit yourself financially to this trip. I'm not getting 'cold feet' I just want this trip to include the R/T, both mine and Drew's! (having to spend the entire week with me here would be 'boring',, sure we can drive the Challenger everyday here but.....)

I have the 3:23's in so no problem there. I was hoping to meet up with you guys somewhere around Goldfield but without A/C, at that time of year, it might be a push for me.

Eddie, keep a watch on Craigslist also. You can also place a wanted on Craigslist.
Here's what comes up on my local (St Louis) Craigslist when I use "enclosed trailer"- http://stlouis.craigslist.org/search/ss ... %20trailer
This is what comes up using "gooseneck trailer enclosed" http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/990595713.html
You might also try some farm auctions
Or go to Bob Glidden's shop and borrow one :s024:

Eddie
When looking for a fifth wheel or gooseneck, make sure the trailer has two jacks. A trailer with one jack won't be as stable when loading and unloading. For the size trailer you're looking for, make sure to check the axle ratings also. Some smaller gn or 5th wheels have only 3000 or 3500 lb axles. If I was going to get a gn or 5th wheel trailer, it would have to have 7500 lb or so axles. With brakes on each axle (though my 18' deck trailer has two 3500 lb axles with brakes on one axle) But I don't envision myself pulling more than 9000-10,000 gross trailer weight with this trailer.

ME TOO!!!Thanks for the advice Barc, I've been checking the Trader&Wheels and Deals also, I didnt realize there were so many trailers for sale! Ian, I'll let Dave handle the pics and video, I bought a 12GB Canon digi-cam with 5 min. of video storage+Zoom Lens. Plus my back up digi-cam I bought from Tawain Terry's Adult Bookstore and Farm Equipment Implements. I suck at pic taking as you guys are well aware of, but yes Ian we will HAVE to document this for when we get older and cant remember without pics and video. My Bank Appt. is Mon. Morn. I cant wait!!
