Well the bullshit is over. Me and Drew are the only ones doing this trip and it starts THIS WEEKEND!

I am flying over to Denver tomorrow and after a bit of shopping and chillin for me to get over the 7 hour time difference we are heading out in Drew's modern Challenger.

Two weeks on the road. Very little to do with Vanishing Point this time. We are just going to have a blast touring round to places we would both like to see. Like regular tourists.

We will be staying overnight in Austin Nevada. One of the main bases for the filming of VP. And after a week we should be dropping by to give Pat a visit up in Washington State.

The basic route we are taking (subject to minor changes) is here;
http://www.mapquest.com/?version=1.0&hk=8-ixKRVW2A

Those of you on Facebook will be able to follow us over the course of the trip. I can't wait to get there but shitting myself about the three flights I have to catch first. :lol: I love flying but hate Airports and all the security hassle/connections etc. :evil:

Drews a terrible back seat driver. But I was glad of it a few times. Your road markings and signage over there are bloody terrible. :lol:

Yea one or two times you would have found your self going down the wrong way on a slip, and yes I am a very grumpy driver, and Dave is pretty care free, I will try to adopt his attitude, and it didn't work I already flipped someone off today :evil:

Me and Drew paid a visit to Mark Worman's place a week ago.
He is not the dick he plays in his own TV show. Really cool guy. Let us wander around the place even though it was closed for filming.

That's cool about Worman's shop. Is it really as nice as it looks on TV?

I have only seen a few youtube clips of the early shows in the old premises. I don't get the cable channel that airs it.

But it looked pretty nice to me. :D

I agree with fal308 so much to want. I have seen the show a few times but no longer get the station since we changed cable companies. I did enjoy the show.

All the cars waiting for restoration. Challengers I noticed in the yard included a slant six 70 and a 318 70 someone has fitted a shaker hood to at some point.
