Hard to believe it's this weekend! Sorry Bob, financial reasons dictate that I stay at home this year. :wink2: I miss the rest rooms already! Stop by the Muscle Car Restorations booth and tell Fred, Eddie,(the porno guy) said Hi! they should have a few, show quality, rare, performance Challengers in there due to the tribute year for them. :(

I took some photos of the event and uploaded them to photobucket if anyone is interested.

I ended up taking a lot of photos of engine bays, trunks, etc., for my research.

Yes, that Hemi Challenger in #293 was a nice car for sure. The interior of that one was interesting as well because it had the console cassette player in it. I’ve see those on eBay before but that’s’ the first time I’ve ever seen one installed.

RTSE, yes there was one really gorgeous red R/T SE, 440 Six-Pack, Super Trac Pac car, fully restored. Take a look at pictures 103 to 112. There may be some other photos of it in there later as well because I kept coming back to it hoping to talk to the owner but I never saw him. I was actually a little worried for the guy because he had a book sitting on a chair next the car with all his original documentation in it. There were two original build sheets and a bunch of other things. When I was looking through it, there was no one within 50 feet and I got worried for the guy that someone dishonest might come along and walk off with it. Anyhow, that was the only Six-Pack R/T SE that I saw there.

BTW, like you, I also have an original R/T SE 440 Six-Pack, Super Trac Pac car that I purchased off of eBay back in January. Mine isn’t nearly as nice as yours though.

Thanks for sharing the pics Plumcrazy. Did you enjoy the show? I noticed you got pics of my engine [#'s 42, 43, 44].

Yes, rtse there was a beautiful red one parked in the tent right behind my car. Red with white top.

Dave, The Bratby's said hello. They brought their Aussie Charger.

Hi Bob, Yes, I really did enjoy the show, how about you? Did you go to Brice Rd Friday or Hebron Rd Saturday? I went to Brice but I didn’t stay late enough on Saturday for the Hebron Rd cruise. There is a subfolder on photobucket with Brice Rd photos. This was the best weather I can ever remember for the Nationals. BTW, I do remember seeing your car; very nice. I just love that plum crazy and white color combo. I’m surprised I don’t have pictures of the outside of it. I wish I would have known that was yours, I would have stopped to chat. Hey, what about pic 46, isn’t that your convertible next to the brown one?

RTSE, take a look at photos 345 to 358. Those are photos of that same red R/T SE.

I will try to get some pics of my car within the next couple of weeks. Right now I've got the seats and carpet out of it. I just got my refurbished seats back from Legendary Auto Interiors. I've also got the master cylinder and brake booster out of it right now as well.

thank you plumcrazyrtse, this car did have some mods under the hood like headers, electronic ign, double pulley alternator etc... but still a great looking clean car.

that 440 6 pack burnt orange car for $99,000 sure looked nice too.
you mentioned you bought your car on ebay,so did i.
i actually bought 3 out of the 4 cars i have off ebay.the trick is to go and see the car first in person and then bid accordingly (owner usually will tell you the reserve price if you go see the car in person) if it is a reserve auction dont bid as it only bumps up the cost of the car and if the reserve is not met-call the owner to work out a deal privetly.if reserve is met and you know the car is worth an XXXX amount of $$$'s then go for it at that price, sure worked out for me
