Your own personal car show!,we started this about 6 or 7 years ago , we had 6 cars of our own , and then started realizing that we knew alot of car people and asked them all to join us and now its alot of fun to have a wide variety of old classics together, we even had a local town about 1/4 mile with a 30 min fireworks show, that was right over the house, yes alot of fun

Drew, I really like that AH 3000! Nice group of AMC's too, that Rebel is pretty cool, we had a lot of AMC muscle back in the day, they were cheap and readily available. That black one is sweet.

yes indeed the1961 AH 3000 ,those cars are pretty rare in these parts, and the rebel ,some people get it confused with a roadrunner, or gtx ,but that rebel has some sweet lines!

Yeah, I have always had a 'thing' for smaller 2 seaters regardless of make. Drew, you know there is a club for MG's with American V-8's. I'm sure they handle like a drunken church lady but man what power to weight they must have. I wouldnt cut up an AH though. That should be a criminal offense. What was the largest engine those AMC's had Drew? 401? That 64 Plymouth Fury ragtop is pretty rare as well. How sweet would that be with a Stage III 426 with CrossRam in there! :s003:

That 64 Plymouth Fury ragtop is pretty rare as well. How sweet would that be with a Stage III 426 with CrossRam in there!,that is Ivy,s car she and Tony Richards own MopowerMasters, that car is sporting a 440 6 pac, with stealth aluminum heads, here is a pic, also that rambler has a 290,and yes ed they did have a 401 after 1970, however, all there blocks are the same size from a290 ,360,390,401 all used the same engine blocks, there for they are some of the lightest engines for there time, that blue amx is about 4 or 5 tenths of a sec faster than my car!with a 401! yes they run very well, oh btw i know this a challenger site as i own one, but i hope by now everyone knows im not brand loyal, i love all cars which is why i have all these buddies with alot of other muscle cars, we get along great and.................we dont have to compete for parts :s016: :s017:

I too like all cars (though my first love is Mopar). That AH is really nice. We recently had a European car show in St Louis and had the usual passel of Ferraris, Jags, Porsches, and BMWs but also had somewhere around 18 or Austin Healey 3000s, a bugeye Sprite, some MGAs, Lambos, an Audi R8, a Vector(IIRC), different Lotuses (Loti? ), Masarratis, several 1930s European classics etc and the star of the show.....a Bugatti Veryon!

Yeah somewhere around 18 or so. I really like them. I think I've got some photos on my other computer. I'll check this weekend if I remember.
As an aside, my brother was looking at picking up an AH in the mid-ninties at Hot August Nights. He didn.t want to pay the 13-15k they were asking then. I wonder what he thinks now?

Yeah BJ had one go for over 100k IIRC. Not sure what the going rate is in the real world.
BTW, several of the AHs were triple carb cars

Happy belated birthday!! Just had the annual European carshow (http://www.stleuropeanautoshow.com/Euro ... fault.aspx)a couple weeks ago. The star car this year was a Mercedes McLaeren. Any more shots/info of that green Charger?

On the subject of Austin-Healey 3000's, there is at least one if not two companies reproducing them. Or at least there was a couple when I was looking at the kit versions a few years ago. So not all of the ones you see are the real deal.

The guy Bob is a tavern kinda guy, works as a postman, we see him on occasion ,we have not seen him in a while so we were unable to contact him and invite him ,but I think his is a real one due to the age of some of the engine, and interior, he just drives it and his friends give him shit ,but it is a cool car :D
