Thanks for sharing the pics Dale. Your 73 is looking good. I have lived in Indiana for 48 years and must admit I have never heard of Haubstat. Is this an annual car show? I know that there is a huge show in Evansville. Do you ever attend that one?

Dale, your car is "killer' man! Nice pics, Thanks for posting them. I have been to Haubstadt before. There is nothing there. Kinda like where I live. Bob is that Evansville show called the Auburn Cruise? Every late summer I think there are these, "Hot Rods" that go down U.S.41 to Evansville right past my home. I'm not into "hot Rods" but appreciate their hobby. All the cars look like the Munsters Coach to me

The show in Evansville is called the "Frog Follies". They have many street rod from all over the country attend. They are required to be 1948 and older cars. The show is coming up soon. It runs for 3 days and they have a web sight for more information.

Haubstat is a little town just off hwy. 41 about 3 miles north of I64 . This was the first annuall show and it was sponsered by Hoosier Hot Rods and Classis restoration shop. They ended up having about 50 cars. My stepson runs the resto shop and they are the guys that did all the body and paint work on my car. I'll add pictures of 3 cars that they have restored that were at the show.

The Panther Pink Challenger and Sublime Green Cuda are both 340 six pack cars and stay in the same garage at night. His and hers family cars.

This was a complete resto with crate motor and transmission.

The resto job on this car was turned down by 2 other shops. They said the car was too far gone to restore.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments.

Figured you all would like some burnout videos from the show in case you missed it.

Right here buddy! lol

Thanks, it's a work in progress but it has seen two power tours ( 07 and 08 ) and between 6 - 8,000 rpms at every burnout! lol tooooo fun.

Thank you also for the warm welcome!

Like the '67 also. When I was around 16 or so, we used to cruise in a bronze '66 fastback. It's the only moving car I was ever thrown out of
