Ok we have officially been given the go-ahead with this show. We were waiting to hear from Lisa at Carlisle about the show and I just talked to her today for about 2 to 3 hours and here is a quick run down.

There will be a pre-registration that will take place as soon as they have all the particulars worked out on their end so people can go to the Carlisle Web Site and pre-register. When you do so you will automatically be given a reserved spot on the field where the AAR's and T/A's will be placed this year. Along with a reserved spot you will also receive a special 9 x 12 wooden plaque specifically for the 35th AAR and T/A Reunion (ONLY THOSE WHO PRE-REGISTER) Registration fees will be the normal price but for those who pre-register you get the special plaque as well as the other goodie bag items you normally get when you register as well as a reserved spot. Also all 3 of the factory built race cars will be there and we are hoping to have both Dan Gurney and Sam Posey as well as some of their crew members too. We are also going to try and get Barry Tenin to attend this show. Barry Tenin was a photographer who took many pictures of all the 70 Trans Am Racing events of all makes and models. His archive of rare and never before seen pix will be one of the highlights of this show. For right now I am asking people who want to pre-register for this show to email me and I will let everyone know as soon as Carlisle has their website set up to accept them. This is one event all AAR and T/A owners should make no matter what shape their car is in. It could possibly be the largest gathering of its kind ever put on in one area so we urge everyone to attend with their cars if they can. Heres my email for those who are interested in pre-registering early. transamcuda@comcast.net Thanx and hope everyone makes it this year!!!!!

I know Barry had posted a brief update after he spoke with Lisa at Carlisle and at that time only 3 AAR's and 3 T/A's were pre-registered. We cannot stress enough how important it is that you pre-register if at all possible ASAP. If you need info on this here is the link.

Here is Carlisles link to pre-register through their site.

Please try to get registered as soon as you can. We are really hoping for at least 50 of each car although I personally would like to see 100 of each and its not impossible with the number of cars on each registry in the surrounding states from Pa. Thanx again and please email Barry or me if you have any questions.

just reserved a room for the show weekend. The last update I read had 55 T/A's and AAR's pre-registered. Should be fun. See you there.

As of right now 80 total cars is where we stand. It might be closer to 100 as the show draws closer. Although Lisa had told me they were almost completely booked as far as letting cars on the fairgrounds. So I am not sure if thats the case as of now. Looking forward to meeting everyone. :s004:
