In rebuilding my AC system, I've noticed that the section of foam that covers a section of the large line by the expansion valve tube is missing.
Is this a specific type of insulation or is it actually the standard foam insulation you see on home AC systems covering the lines?

Thanks

The Home A/C line insualtion works very well, Ive done that type of repair many times and it works well. Just make sure the split insualtion is high density,(the 'foam' will be thick and kinda stiff)
