The Dodge Challenger Message Board

I was wondering what temp thermostat would be recomended for a 383. I dont have any cooling issues and i have a 160 degree in now but have heard running too cool isnt always desirable.

Engine wear is much higher at 160. Use a 180 for the best all-round performance.
