For those who've had their radiators rebuilt...

How much does that usually cost? The original from my car is a little worse for wear, but isn't a goner. Just wondering if it's cost effective compared to picking up a new one. (I'm not looking for originality, just trying to get her back on the road).

At least here in France, the price for having a brand new core fitted to the original water boxes is almost the price of an entry-level bolt-on aluminum radiator.

If you are lucky you might be able to pick up one like i got from Ebay - a new aluminium 2 row (equivalent in cooling to a 3 1/2 row brass), bolt in affair. That was for a BB, but i'm sure they do SB as well. Mine was just AUS$400 to my door. Amazing.
