Radiator and water pump housing combo

Hello all,
I have a 70 RT with 440 in it. I am not sure what radiator and water pump housing combo it should have. It is an orginal 440 car but not a matching numbers engine. The radiator has the top hose is on the passenger side and bottem is on the drivers side. I think this is correct. The water pump inlet however runs vertical from the housing and looks like it should connect to a radiator that has a connection on the bottem passenger side. I think my challenger should have a pump housing that has an angled inlet that aims the pick up towards the drivers side bottem?
It would be great if someone who knows what radiator and pump housing my car is susposed to have could let me know.

Cheers

For a 440 you should have a 26 inch radiator with top hose inlet top passenger side and bottom hose outlet bottom drivers side.

It sounds as if you have the correct radiator.

The water pump though sounds wrong.

Also. Fit a water pump from an AC equiped 440. These have more blades on the pump and work better.

G'day mate, I just bought a set of Scat conrods from KMJ Performance. Last year i bought an alloy water pump housing from them as well (for my 440 Chal). It was the best price anywhere -only $129 for that, including postage! Probably made you know where, but the quality and machining are very high. These guys are very well priced, plus very easy to phone and talk to. They go out of their way to get you the best shipping price and even repack stuff in smaller boxes to save you money. Not many companies will do that. They have done this twice for me now. They have a lot of Mopar stuff as well. http://stores.shop.ebay.com/KMJ-PERFORM ... ec0Q2em322

I got the Hi Volume allum water pump from Pentastar Parts, only cos it was on special at $65.

The alluminium at the front end of the motor does save a lot of weight over the cast iron stuff
