Challenger Cooling Fan

Postby patrick » 17 Jan 2009 0:14

I just got a used clutch fan, for the Challenger. Doe's anybody know what these number's mean?
46237: Fan
006490: Clutch
My 340 car was made for Canada. I think that's why, it only came with a 22" Radiator and, a six blade fan. My clutch fan is getting a little worn. A little slop in movement. The one I just picked up, is tight. No wabble. Just wondering, what it came out of. :D

Those numbers you posted arent in my Chrysler Corp. Part&Casting#s book.(Galen's little white books), sorry Pat. Maybe they are aftermarket or made beyond 1974?

with the usual chrysler P/N being 7 digits, it may be aftermarket. Pentastar anywhere?

I just went out to the garage, to check the number's on the clutch fan, I removed. There's not a number or a petastar, anywhere. I bet that one is aftermarket. I'd check with the previous owner but, he's been useless, so far. :s008:
