gday i just use a piece of wire to dip mine & its only got 1/2 an inch in the bottom im guessing this is not enough although there is no sign of it ever leeking
i cant see a level bung anywhere only the filler bung gut i would think if filled to that level it would be way over full
ill get mine out in daylight & have a better look incase theres a level bung hiding somewhere
cheers ian

I remember the day I took mine off.

About a couple of weeks after buying the car I think. It was like lifting a motorcycle engine off the front of the engine. I think the front suspension came up about two inches. :D

I gave it to a bloke wanting to make a compressor for an air brush.

Yes there is PAG oil in it. The PAG oil helps seal the system which uses buna m o-rings and the freon dries them out really bad. dried seals and o-rings =leak. The system uses approx 2-3 ozs. of PAG oil in it. DO NOT use anything but PAG oil!! This applies to both R134A and the old R-12 refrigerants. You can put it in yourself at the low/side schrader valve near the compressor in most vehicles. There will be a service "port" near the compressor, it will have a tire stem style threaded cap on it. twist it off, connect the PAG oil can and dump it in. WEAR safety googles when doing this. You cant enjoy your Challenger if your blind!! NO JOKE!! Hope this helps Bro.
