Repro Heater Control Valve

Postby Rizrtse » 03 Oct 2005 23:51

Is anyone remaking the plastic, black and red heater control valves? Or am I destined to replace it with the metal after market unit Yr 1 advertises?.....FYI - my ticking sound was an exhaust manifold leak...whew!

Are you talking about the four season valve on a/c cars.

Never heard it called that but its the heater control valve that has 2 inlets and 2 outlets that directs water flow (or not) into the core, operated by the slide switch on the interior panel cable driven switch..

Hi. I bought one off of ebay for about $100 that looks to be the correct one. Here is a link for one currently on ebay....
