Water Valve

Does anyone have a diagram pertaining to the water valve? I need to know what position the valve is in when OPEN and CLOSED.

Do you mean the heater valve?

I believe open would be with the linkage forward- and closed to be with the linkage back. I checked last night and it seemed to be open- as both hoses had hot water circulating through them.
