Did you all know in 1970 the 383 4bbl engine option had a price tag that said $137.55 and the 440 4bbl one that said $130.55!?
Anybody got an idea why this was?

the 383 was standard on the r/t, so a 440 was a $130 upgrade. i think the 383 4bbl was an option only on a non r/t .

That's right Ted. There was no charge for the 383 in the R/T.
