Hey Adrian-

I might have asked this of you before (I'm getting senile!) but if I were to provide my VIN, could I get the purchase and other history on my Challenger? It would be nice to know where it came from ,etc..

Thanks

The information was lost when Chrysler had a fire in their records office.

Daves right, its all gone, which is why people like Barry, with his massive wealth of knowledge and website, are so important. Try doing some investigation work yourself Chuck, its amazing how interesting it is trying to get all that stuff tied up together. I once had a '57 Buick Special that I found an underseal coating sticker with the name of a dealership, so I contacted them by post, turns out they supplied it new to a guy who traded in a '55 Chevy. They sent me as much as they could in copys, even some original sales lit, really excellent service. Try it mate, might be an enjoyable task

Unfortunately who ever had this car prior to me did a piss-poor job of keeping anything and we've had the car apart- and I have found nothing. No broadcast sheet- no fender tag. NADA...
All I have is the VIN and VIN/ MFG tag inside the driver's door.

Bummer, I guess.

Link to print out a registration form at http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/register.shtml

The Registry includes all 1970 models from both the Hamtramck & Los Angeles plants.
