Broadcast sheet

Postby cv70chall » 22 Jan 2011 22:39

So, I've looked everywhere and no luck. no broadcast sheet. I've head that there might be a firm/ individual who can actually create a reproduction broadcast sheet based on the VIN number on the vehicle. Is this true? I have the VIN.

It is true that you can have a sheet made. It is is called forgery.

There is no way of knowing what was on the build sheet. The VIN only tells you what model car and which engine. The fender tag tells you a little more like paint/interior and most external options. But that is nothing compared to what would be on the build sheet.

People have them made and add all the "interesting" options to make the car more valuble. I consider that "very naughty".

That is just one of the places he will have looked Adrian.

Taped to the back side / top of the glove box insert.
Under the front bucket seats in the springs
Inside the bucket seat backs
Under the rear seat bottom
In the rear seat back.
Under the package tray(speaker shelf)
Under the carpet

I totally understand and would never want to forge something- nor give someone the wrong or incorrect impression.
I've looked everywhere you guys recommended and have not found anything.

Always a bad idea to "replace" documentation. Original documents mean something. New replacement documents are not worth the paper they are printed on.

Original documentation / data has value because it is just that, original.

Fakes have 0 value to anyone.

Real or fake, no paper in the world will make the car drive any better.

If you do not enjoy the car as it is & you want one with papers of some kind, sell it & buy one with what you want.

Agreed and understood. Papers don't mean anything (unless you're in Arizona illegally).
I'm quite happy with what I have.
