M51 Sunroof -On fender tag?

I have a 71 Sunroof Challenger and was trying to determine if the code M51 would be on the fender tag. I was told, no, that there would be only a G in front of the order number.

How rare is this car? And would it be on the broadcast sheet?
Any info would be helpfull.
