There is a small thin tag with the number 19 stamped into it attached under the fender tag of my 70:? What does this designate if anything?

It is an inspection tag, you car was inspected by inspector 19 - whoever that was......

Thank you. I guess my next order of business is pulling the interior to find the build sheet. This is almost like an archeological dig

If the car has not been searched before, you may find as many as five. If you find more than two, chances are good that at least one of them will be for another car. If you do find any with different VIN numbers on them, please let me know?

Here is a list of places to look;

Taped to the back side / top of the glove box insert.
Under the front bucket seats in the springs
Inside the bucket seat backs
Under the rear seat bottom
In the rear seat back.
Under the package tray(speaker shelf)
Under the carpet

I will try to do the treasure hunt this weekend. If I find any not belonging to the car, I'll mail them straight to you so they can find their rightful owners. I really appreciate all the help.
