Is FY4 (citron mist) an uncommon color?

Hello all, I'm new here. I recently bought my first Challenger, a 70 painted in citron mist with black interior. This was a lucky find for me, especially for the price ($800). The interior is very clean and intact, especially since its been sitting in a pole barn for 25 years. The only rust is on each of the four roof pillars plus a minor amount on the trunk lid and trunk pan. It appears to have its original 318 and 904 trans too, though I still need to check the casting numbers. Its fender tag numbers go as:

R11 V5X y05 26 ENI
V1X C16 C55 G33 H51 M21
FY4 H6X9 000 623 214641
E44 D31 JH23 GOB

Anyway, I have been searching around the internet for other citron mist colored E bodies, and there seems to be very few around.

Welcome to the site!

FY4 is not a popular color today, but it is quite stunning, I really like it myself.

Most of the cars I see coded for it have been repainted. :(

You can see photos of a couple FY4 Challengeres here;

Personally I love that colour.

A mate of mine had his Coronet painted a very similar colour. But I think it is one of those colours where you do need straight bodywork.

The two look very different in the pictures :? Is it just lighting??? I guess it doesn't help that I'm legally color blind lol!

They are the same colour in Barry's photos. They are just taken in different lighting conditions.
