Looking Good.

Do you know Hans with his Challenger?

On the subject of French Challengers the expert on those is board user FBernard. If he see this he will be able to fill you in with all the details.

Meanwhile. There are a few threads in this section of the board on this subject. If you look through it you might find what you are looking for.

Here are a few threads I found with a quick look.

The address on the Champs-Elysées (mentioned on the Chrysler France fender tag) was the headquarters for Simca, not a dealership.

I don't remember exactly how many hardtops were built/sold in France.
There was a first batch of 5 or 6 cars if I remember correctly, and a second order of 24 cars, which was cancelled (but the cars were delivered anyway, we have found several of them). But as far as I know, all cars were base Challengers with 383 engines. I'll check with the club's experts on that topic.
What seems funny is that it might be the only RT delivered in France, all others are JH. This is suspect... :hmmm:

Quicky, can you post the fender tag. I dont think that any R/T came with
a 383 2 bbl. Is the S an H or is the L an N. Great looking car

Oh! I didn't spot that!

Yes. That should either be JH23L or JS23N shouldn't it? :?

Probably stands for "numéro de procès-verbal d’agrément", which is the reference to the homologation paperwork that made it legal to sell the car in the country. It usually includes a complete technical description of the car that passed homologation (engine, suspension, brakes, tires, weight, etc.).
