Trying to find fender tag or broadcast sheet.

I have a 1970 challenger that I'm in the process of restoring. I don't have the Vin tag ,broadcast sheet, fender tag or any solid information on the car. I did find the partial Vin stamped on the cowl and radiator support. The numbers are E0 101367. I am assuming its a California car becasue it has the emmision tub in the trunk. It doesn't have the original engine so I think its a 318 or 383 two barrel car becasue of the lack of a second exhaust hanger mounted near the axle. It also an original A/C car.

Any place I should look for lost VIN or fender tags ??

It should be ( 0E) Look behind the rear seat (back part),also remove plastic back of bucket seats,glove compartment.If you are luckey you might find YOUR broadcast sheet.Good luck.

I guess that previous owners is your best bet. I did a search on http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/ (Found section) but it gave nothing. It is a very early build car you got, that is for sure.

The full VIN appears in four places on an E-Body. First is on the dash pad, viewable through the windshield. The second place is on the driver's door next to the latch slot. The third is on the fender tag. The fourth will be the window sticker and if you are lucky enough to have the factory warranty book, it may have been copied into it.

The E0 tells you that this is a 1970 model Los Angeles-built car, so searching for the broadcast sheet is a waste of time. The LA boys did not put them in the cars. I've heard something about a "clean car" policy at that plant that may explain this but I can't say what the cause was for sure.

The E0 101367 stamping will be found on the cowl, radiator core support, engine block stamp pad and the transmission stamp pad. I don't know how much of a basket case car you got, but if you are missing the dash VIN plate and the fender tag and the original door is on it, the door sticker may be your best bet. If it is painted over, clean it carefully so as not to harm the lettering.
