The TA has the 6 pac air cleaner with the seal to the hood what kind of air cleaner would they have used with the one 4 barrel? It would have to seal to the hood too but it sure would be a big and wierd looking air cleaner
another question about the N94 non-TA car

If someone was to come up with a Challenger that was not a TA or an RT
that had the N94 code what do ya think it would be worth in restoreable condition thanks

Ok, first of all, what have you found?
That said, they did use their own air cleaner, I do not have any photos of them, they are pretty rare. So far for 1970, I know of two Hemi Challengers that came with the N94 hood, one 383 R/T and one Challenger 340. I have heard of two cars with it in 1971 also.
I saw a photo of the Hemi base online someplace, I will try and find it again.

It is VERY hard to tell.
To a large degree it depends on if you can find the right buyer who really is eager to own a car with this particular option. It is a rare option. My gut feeling is that a car with this option shold be worth about 10%-25% more than a car without it. Then I am thinking of a car in good, drivable condition or better. That is only a guess and it is only my opinion.

Have you got the broadcast sheet as well as the tag? Make sure they are originals and not reproductions.
If all is well you have a hell of a find. So well done!
All we need now is
PHOTOS!!
This is what I have found

The date and the assembly plant (it was built at Hamtramck) add up to being correct for the period this type of hood was fitted.
Great find.

Is the VIN JH23H0B405538? If so, I have some history on it.
The Hemi air breather was a dual quad setup.

I called to confirm the VIN # with the current owner. They said that it is a match. Can you tell me more about this particular car?

Sure thing. It was on Ebay back in June of 2003, it sold then for $4,100.00, it appears to be quite rusty from the photos.
It has quite a lengthy description, way too long for me to type. I can read it to you if you would like to call me though? 907-225-2709
