At the risk of sounding ignorant-- can anyone tell me what 'v' code,u code
etc means? Thank You Joe :roll:

When refferred to that way it is usually the 5th digit in the VIN number.

They vary by year sometimes, but for 1970 - 71 cars "U" is 440 4 barrel and "V" is 440 6 barrel.
