I need help bad. How do I find out the original paint color if I have just a VIN? Is there any place to get all the information possible with just a VIN?

also here are some more codes that came off the car in question:

P37 V6X EN2
V3X C B51 C16 C55 N41
FC7 H6X9 000 503 B59897
E65 D32 JH27 N1B 377169
36148 73

Can anyone tell me what they mean, I've tried looking them up but I only get answers for 8 of them.

thanks guys,

Kelly

WOW!! Thanks for the help.

"Canadian order unknown," is that meaning you can not find out the selling dealer?

no,what that means is out of a 126 cars produced we dont know how many
were built for export. If i were you i would look for the broadcast sheet.
Look behind the rear seat, look behind the front seats, under carpet, look
above the glove box.Better yet go to Daves web site it has all the information you need on dodge Challengers.

(edit) I just corrected that address Mike. - Dave.

We will have to call you 'Fast' Mike from now on. That has to be the fastest fender tag de-code on record. :lol2:

You have more than just the VIN. The VIN is the bit on the dash that says "JH27 N1B 377169". What you gave Mike is called the fender tag codes. These are the main option codes found on the metal plate fixed to the inner fender.

The complete code list is on the broadcast sheet (aka build sheet) this can often be found in at least one of the places Mike mentions. If you find this sheet it adds to the value of the car a little because you can show that everything on the car is original. Originallity counts for a lot when it comes to resale value.

Mike I get 203 JH27's built with small blocks and exported to Canada and God Knows Where. I can't break it down any more than that unless I am missing something?
