V-8 or 340?

Postby shatar4 » 29 Dec 2004 20:56

After looking at the production figures for the 71 Challenger, I am confused as to what column I should be looking at. I have a 71 with the 340 hardtop but it is not a R/T. So is it under the V-8 column or is it under the 340 column? There is a big difference in numbers so any help would be great.

Look here instead. The numbers are more accurate.

You are looking at the 1971 JH cars (JS = R/T). You will see that we only know how many Challengers of both body types were made.

So I have a 340-4 with a automatic trans, there were 894 made between the converts and hardtops?
Thanks Dave-r

Correct. What we don't know is how many of each.
