All known production numbers are here http://challenger.mpoli.fi/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=4565

We don't know how many were made with your combo but as 'pacecar' has already said we do know that there were 291 340/4-speeds built to USA spec (JH hardtop and convertible) and 313 R/T hardtop versions.

I would expect that of the 291 JH 340 cars the percentage being convertibles would be less than half that number?

O.K , I have some breakdowns for you so get out your calculators.

Total number of 71 converts built = 571
With that = 4.9 % were built with the 340 engine( auto+4sd )
Of the 4.9 % = 0.7 % were built with the 4 sd trans,
of the 4.9% = 4.2 % were 340 with the auto trans.

Of the 571 chall rags built.

8.8 % were built with the 383 2 bbl engine
5.1 % were built with the 383 4 bbl engine

Hope this helps with your Questions. Rapid
