this is my plate it is like a plain jane rt with se options. ac manual drum brakes manual steering
v6x 26 end
n41 n42 n85 r22 v1x
g55 g33 h51 j25 m21 m31
v1x a01 a04 a62 c16 c26
ek2 hrk4 000 a20 041765
e63 d32 js29 noe 113xxx

rare car?
the door sticker says it was built 10 69. the A20 is even earlier than that ?
my question is, is it possible this is one of the first rt/se cars? and who would order a car with ac and manual brakes, steering or was this a common practice?

Well, according to the VIN, it is an R/T SE, so it should have the SE options. :D

They made 2,076 R/T SE models with the 383 four barrel and automatic tranny. Four speeds are harder to find, only 400 made, and three speeds are rare with only 30 made.

I hope this helps?

Nope. Not by a long shot. The first ones were coming off the line in July and August. Your code A20 = October 20th 1969.

and who would order a car with ac and manual brakes, steering

A sweaty person that liked a real driving experiance with a bit of luxury?
