NO J54 (Rallye hood) option code!! Very strange indeed.

Dave: "Or maybe they couldn't see over the rallye hood? I am 6'1" and cannot see over the hood!"
Yeah, and if you take away his pillow, he is only 5'4" and has to look out through the steering wheel!

Sorry Dave, couldn't resist. Btw, how do you make other's quotes appear, in that box, in the text of your post?

Well I can't figure out what is going wrong there? It works when I do it! Maybe we are confusing it by using the word quote?

I have experianced a similar problem myself once or twice, but I am not sure about what it depends on. It seems to happen more often when you do changes in the text between the quotes. I think I have tried to have a space between the text and the "[" or "]". I don´t know if that makes any sence. Other factors: Maybe you have an old operating system or maybe a virus or something???? (Guessing time.....

 )

kcmk, you shouldn't check "Disable BBCode in this post" if you want to use BBCode features such as '[quote]'.
Christer, you're right, no extra spaces allowed.

Enabled BBCode, yet changed text between [ ]'s, still no good.

Ok, so I THOUGHT I had BBCode enabled!

Still doesn't work if you change text, though. E.g. removing a quote from within a quote. We ARE making headway.

Quoting text where I wrote '[quote]' causes that problem. So simply quoting others quotes should work - as long they don't write [quote] anywhere.

I wonder if the T/A hood is even higher? Does anyone of you know this for sure?
Another question that I am thinking of, is if you really can see the right hand side turn indicator (L31 hd/fen mount trn sig ) if you got a T/A hood or a R/T hood?
By the way, I think I have read somewhere that you couldn´t get the L31 option on a 440" or a 426" car. Is this correct?

Well, I had to run out and measure since I have both hoods here. It is not easy to get a super accurate measurement because of the curves of the hood, but the T/A scoop at the center is quite close to 3 inches taller than the R/T scoop at the center.
T/As were available with the A01 light package, but the package did not include the L31 fender top turn signal indicators because there was no way for the driver to see the one on the passenger side. I am not sure about the R/Ts, but it would be darn hard to see it on them too.
T/Ake care,
Barry

According to Facts and Features, the L31 option (Fender mounted turn signals) wasn´t available for R/T and 340 pkg cars

It would be more logical if you couldn´t get L31 combined with J54 (R/T hood) or N94 (T/A hood), if you ask me.

BTW, thanks, Barry!

Yeah, that would have been a simpler way to put it! It is a little odd but L31 was available on Cudas with the Shaker hood and on AARs too. I am not sure about the dual scoop Cuda hood though.
