I was cleaning out the challenger and found (2) different broadcast sheets
in the bucket seats.Would like to give them to the owner of the cars

1) JH29GOB193330

2) JS23VOB184649

Number two is close, but no cigar. Mine is JS23V0B190096 and I would be doing back flips if I could locate the broadcast sheet for it. Was the one you found built on Nov 12 or 13?

I do not have either of those Challengers in my Registry yet, but I will keep an eye out for them.

I have not heard of your Challenger before either but I will keep an eye out for you too.

I only found one broadcast sheet in my T/A ( JH23J0B311229 ) but the sheet was for a later T/A, JH23J0B311247. It was the first sheet that I ever matched up with another car too, but it sat in my filing cabinet for over 12 years before the car finally surfaced in Utah. :shock:

If anyone sees this that has not checked their bucket seat backs for other broadcast sheets yet, please do so! You may very well have a sheet in your car for another car. Hamtramck is especially famous for this!

Jack,it was nov.8th.So this means that some body has my broadcast sheet
in their seat.Both broadcast sheets have HRX9 leather seats.

Barry,I will send you the broadcast sheets if you want them.I also went to the 6pkchallengerregistry and gave them the broadcast sheet #. I should look above the glovebox next.

I have broadcast sheet for JH23C0B152479 and actual vehicle as well. Broadcast sheet is in better condition than rest of car.

I also have title for JH23G0B141138 somewhere. When my cars came from Canada one of them had incorrect paperwork and I had to get proper papers from seller and Canadian DMV. DMV was suprisingly easy to work with. Sent email to them, they called to seller and two days later my agent went to DMV to pick necessary paperwork.

In case someone is intrested JH23C0B195123 was for sale in Russia in February 2002. Here's old ad:

20.2 For sale: Dodge Challenger 1970, VIN JH23COB195123. Rolling body +transmission. The car has: bumpers, exterior lights, steering. Absent: all seats, dashboard and gas tank. Hey Mike,
That would be awesome! If the cars ever surface, I will be sure to let you know, and I will make sure that they check their cars for a broadcast sheet for your Challenger as well.

jr, I have not heard of those three VINs before either, but I will keep an eye out for them now.

Hamtramck built at least 342,636 cars for the 1970 model year, and I have only a little over 3200 on file right now so I have quite a ways to go yet. Every little bit of information helps, VINs, broadcast sheets, fender tag codes, etc. Information from parted cars is invaluable as well, I am trying to log each and every 1970 Hamtramck car I can, so I need all the help I can get.

WOW!

Really? I have some info on your Challenger then.

In 1984 it was owned by Gary J. Houston of Edgewater MD. The car had 80,037 miles on it then. He had registered the car with SIAC, and I have a copy of his registration form here.

Barry, I received a copy of the registration form on my challenger.I met
that owner once since I have had the car.I also got in touch with the
original owner who bought the car new in Dec. of 1969,bought it for his wife as a Christmas present. Iwill be sending you the (2) broadcast sheets
I found and all the info. on my car

Hey Mike,
That is cool that you have met him before. I have talked to two previous owners of my T/A, but I have not met one of them yet. He lives in Washington State, so hopefully one day I can hook up with him.

I have hundreds of those forms here for other cars, so spread the word. Quite a few of them have full fender tag information, so that may help the current owners who are missing tags or have had them rust away.

I just heard of another broadcast sheet that matches a Challenger convertible in Sweden, I emailed PeO about it last night, so hopefully he knows who the owner is, I love matching these up whenever possible.

I will keep an eye on my mail box and let you know as soon as they arrive.
