It would be great if mine turned up one day. JS23U0B126177. But I fear it is lost somewhere in Hicksville Texas.

Hey Dave, it is possible, it does happen once in a while. I have just recently put an Englishman in touch with the person that has the T/A block that matches his T/A, so it should be crossing the pond and reunited with the car fairly soon. :D

Your VIN is not one I have heard of before, but I will start a file on it and let you know if I ever hear anything about it. The closest car I have on file to yours so far is a 440 R/T SE, just a little earlier than yours, 126123.

I am hoping that a sheet pops up for my T/A as well, I only found one in it, and it was for a T/A 18 VINs after mine. The car showed up in Utah about 12 years after I found the sheet, so I mailed it to the owner. Since then I have helped match up six other T/A sheets and two for Hemi cars as well, so while a rare occurance, it can and does happen. :D

Barry

I wonder which T/A that is? I can only think of one T/A over here that does not have it's engine. That one is currently painted pink and has a 383. All the other T/A bits on it have been lost over the years too.

There is another two over here that I can think of but I am sure they are numbers matching. One is a pale metalic blue and is in a private collection. The other is yellow and belongs to Pete Wiseman.

Hey Dave,
That sounds like it alright. The car was originally yellow if I remember correctly.

I have heard Pete's name before, does he have an AAR as well?

I do not remember hearing of the blue one before.

Pete does indeed have an AAR as well.

He also has two wing cars (one of each) and a JS23U0B.

Don't you just hate some people? (Just kidding Pete! :D )

The pink car was Yellow when it was a badly rusted shell sitting in London many years ago. It was a very long time indeed before anyone had the guts to take that one on.

The light blue metallic one I did note down the details. I will see if I can find them. It was light blue metallic with the louvres on the rear window. That collector keeps his cars out of the public eye so I have not seen it since it was first brought into the country.

Hey Dave,
Good to know that "rumors" are occasionaly based in fact. :D I have never spoken to him that I can recall, but if you happen to see Pete please tell him that I said hello.

I would love to know any details / numbers for the blue T/A, the yellow one is the only one officially recorded so far in England. The bloke that owns it did find a broadcast sheet in it for a 383 Challenger, I just received it. I added it to the list above, it is the first one listed with an * behind it. It is coded for Y07 Canadian sale, so it may reside in Canada yet.

As I receive other broadcast sheets, I will be sure to post them here.

I updated the list of found items ( at the top of this thread) with the broadcast sheets and registration that Mike sent in, the new additions have a * behind them.

Thanks again Mike! If I am able to match any of them up I will let you know. :D

Hey Barry, I just wanted to drop a post in here, thanking you for what you are doing. Some other people might try to take advantage of the situation, and charge $ for these sheets. You obviously are doing it to help out the hobby. Thx again. Btw, you don't happen to know where any of the cars are that match these sheets, do you? And are they cheap?

Kevin

Thanks Kevin, I appreciate that. I try to treat folks the way that I would want them to treat me, and I am hoping that a broadcast sheet shows up for my T/A one day as well. Does anyone know anything about JH23J0B311229?

If I knew where any of these cars were, the sheet would already be back with the car. :D If you do buy one of the cars on the list at some point though, the sheet will be yours for free.

I know of sheets available for dozens of other cars as well, but I only advertise the ones actually in my possession. I also have prior owner history on hundreds of 1970 model cars from the Hamtramck plant, so spread the word. I have been able to send out seven broadcast sheets to the owners of the cars so far, and have put several other folks in touch with the person who has their broadcast sheet or block. The more people that send in the information on what they have found, the more frequent the "match-ups" will be. I have been able to send out prior owner history to well over 200 car owners so far.

It does take all of my spare time, ( and then some) so it is good to know that it is appreciated.

Barry Washington
