There is a text on my right rear inner fender that says "Rock". I have always wondered about this text. Now I have found another car (See the link below) with the same text. I would like to ask if anyone knows anything more about this text? Thanks!

The following text is from the ebay ad: "This is a signature series car signed by "Rock" at the factory at time of assembly as documented in Mopar books!!!"

Sometimes an assembly worker would write his 'name' on parts if he could get away with it. Obviously it would have been unwise to write his real name.

At least I think that is what it is. :?:

Done the same sort of thing myself when I was young.

I guess you are right, Dave.

He must have written this signature on an awful lot of cars since it seems to be quite common.

If the man behind the Rock-signature reads this: CanĀ“t you please reveal yourself? Please? Can you hear me Kowalski?

I personally blame Rock for putting all the wrong broadcast sheets in the cars that traveled down assembly line one at Hamtramck in 1970. The way I figure it, if I blame him, maybe one day he will call me to see what my problem is with him, and that way I can learn his true identity.
