I just bought my dreamcar Challenger '70. The 383 A/T AC '70 (Californian made) is not in dream shape, but surely will be for summer. Car has #no engine, but no buildsheet. Is it possible to get somewhere somehow the buildsheet info?

Well done on finding your dream car! A big block too.

Sorry but once the build sheet is gone it is gone for good. All the major options are on the fender tag so you can get pretty much all the info you need from that.

In general car without a build sheet or fender tag is worth a lot less than a car with one or other of those items. However if your Challenger is one of the more common non-R/T cars it does not effect the value very much at all.

Build sheets

From what I've learned, build sheets were not left in the Los Angeles-built cars.

Stupid question maybe, but when there is no fender tag under yha hood, is one in glovebox/behind glovebox?
