Hello! I took advice I read earlier and hunted for al the option codes for my 70. I got them all but one:

H6E4

H is high trim and 6 is vinyl buckets, I think. But the E4 is throwing me. I believe it is the interior color code, but I can't locate it anywhere. The inerior is kind of an orange red. But before I get any replacement parts, I would like to know the official name! Thanks!

E4 is indeed the code for red vinyl. I am not sure if it had an official name but I can check tonight.

I looked it up in Paul Herd's book and he has the vinyl down as just "red". However painted panels are down as "Poppy Red". Hope that helps.

How do I know if my car should have Coachman grain inserts or Regal grain inserts? Is there a way to tell for sure? (You can choose between these two types in the Year One catalogue. I think my ´70 std Challenger should have regal grain inserts but I am not sure. Like you Mike, I am also thinking of replacing my old interior with a new one. By the way, my car also has a H6E4 interior)

I would have guessed Regal grain as I think that is what you got with the H6 bucket. But like you I am not 100% sure.
