I used to own 100019 from 1989 to 2000. It was a 440 sixpack automatic car. I sold it ,and later saw it up for auction at Barrett Jackson in Phoenix. It appeared to be restored, but not correctly. Whoever owned it added the hood black out stripe, added rocker mouldings. Wrong color center caps, wrong placement of decklid nameplates. It made me wish I never sold it. Maybe someone else will correct these mistakes in the future. It was a pilot car. It had a "JOB 164" stamped on the body tag. I was told that only pilot cars had a job number. It was Top banana with a black vinyl top. It had power windows, six way seat, and the salt & pepper houndstooth interior (Buckets w/console). I always figured whoever ended up with it would contact me for any history on the car. So far nobody has contacted me. I was the third owner of this car and knew both of the previous (original) owner(s). I know the history of this car since the day it was purchased at a Dodge dealer after Dodge was done using it for whatever they used it for.
Very intresting stuff! You do not happen to have any pic´s of it? We just can not get enough of Challenger pic´s on this forum.
