If these codes are in the following locations on the second line up from the bottom of the first tag

??? HRX9 000 C11, they mean the following

HRX9 - H: High trim grade; R: Bucket seats, leather upholstery; X9: Black interior trim color

000 - full door panels

C11 - Scheduled production date: December 11, 1969. The C means December.

Y14 - sold car

26 - 26" diameter radiator

END - end of option codes

Would this be a JS29U0E by any chance? As for the emissions package - I'd have to check on the full extent of it, but off the top of my head I know it means a different gas tank.

I think it was vapour recovery back from the carb fuel bowl to the tank?

I am curious.
Why not JS29N0E, V0E or for that matter R0E Jack?
Was that an educated guess or just a guess?

I was looking at his username and the END stamp made me think it was the LA plant. That made me figure the car was a 440 four-barrel car since the six-packs were almost exclusively assembled in Hamtramck.

Doh! His username! Of course. I had a feeling you had spotted something I hadn't which was why I asked.

I'm the new new guy with fender tag issue: I have solved the majority I believe, but on that concerns me a bit. Does YO5 indicate an Australian Car?
