I thought I'd start a new thread and ask all of the different places in a car you guys have found build sheets. I had a guy tell me the other day he found one between his heater and firewall.

Mopars in general or just Challengers? Because Challengers were only made in two plants the strange practices of the workers in some other plants are not seen in these cars.

Places I have heard of include where you found yours. Or on top of the glove box liner.

More places are;

Under the rear seat (most common)
Inside the back of one of the bucket seats.
Under the carpet.
Behind a kick panel.
I heard of one case where it was found tucked inside a chassis rail! But this was not a Challenger.

I have found the broadcast sheet for a 73 340 Hamtramck challenger rallye behind the rear seat back it was undamaged.

I know it's not a challenger but it is a close relative! In my latest project a 71 cuda I found a second broadcast sheet under the passenger seat

Over the years the weight of passengers had formed it around the springs and it was torn into 6 pieces. I sprayed it with water mist and then ironed it-the pieces then fit back together perfectly.The first broadcast sheet had already been removed but the pattern on it suggests it was in a seat also.

For a moment there Richard, I thought you were saying a '73 Rallye Challenger isn't a Challenger.
I was almost upset! ;-)
