Bucket Seat Back Differences

I'm thinking about replacing the seat backs and have a potential set that are off a 71-72 model. My car is a 70.
Question is, are there ANY differences between the 70 and later seat backs?
I've heard maybe the size of the release button on the plastic sides but I'm not sure.
Before I put down some $$ I would like to be sure.

?????

Check this link from Jims Auto parts, says that the differences are the type of hinge cover and not the seat backs, which is how I always interpreted it

Here's what I got off that website (Jim's Auto Parts)
It seems that the seat backs are the same- with the difference being that 70 uses the metal side pieces while 71- later used plastic?
If that's the case, then the seat backs are the same, right?

PLASTIC SEAT BACKS

These seat backs put the finishing touches on your cars interior! These six colors match your cars interior nicely.

*Please note: 70-Mid 71 style seat backs have the metal hinge covers whereas the late 71-72 style does not.

I thought that untill today, when a mate of mine gave me his '74 front seats complete and recovered in exchange for my '72 cores :D
The main thing that struck me was that the seat backs were'nt exposed like on earlier models, the seat cover went over it. Also the hinge covers were different..................all new to me :!:
