Good story and I don't need your help this time for a change

I'm starting to get the interior together for this 70 Chally. The guy I got this from was planning on putting in some new seats from a newer Dodge, I think an omni or something. They aren't bad, but not right. He told me he traded the old seats to a guy that did some work on the car. I tracked down the guy and he said he still had the seats. I picked them up, along with new backs and some cheap covers for $250. I should have checked them out better. These are not the original seats. They are from a '71- up car. I called the guy back and told him these were not the originals.
When I was there he also had a pair of front seats from a 70 Cuda according to him. They had been in a fire, but it appeared the frames were good cores. I asked him about those and he said he had just thrown them in the dumpster! I drove right over and we fished them out of the trash. Yep. 70 seats! AND they had the tracks and sliders along with them! Some stripping, and cleaning up and these will work just fine. I also got the lower arms (connecting the bottoms with backs) which will work fine. ALL hardware was there minus one plastic knob.
I'll sell the others as good cores and should have very little into these, except for having to buy new foam and covers. I can't believe he tossed these in the trash. OH, he said these were out of the 70 Cuda he has in his garage and I found the broadcast sheet inside the seat back on one of them. He will probably be glad to get that.

Broadcast sheets found in bucket seats are very often for different cars due to how the assembly lines were run. Ask him what his VIN is to see if it is a match.

If it is not, please let me know what it is so I can check the registry files & see if I do know who owns the car it matches.
