Hello,im in australia so its very difficult to get a used auto console without seeing it.Can anybody tell me how good the repop consoles are,be totaly honest im fussy.Also has anybody got an immaculate genuine console and slapstick shifter for sale,im converting from column to floor..Maybe even a steering column?...Cheers

Hey FC7RT,
There is a not bad looking console on Australian ebay at the moment. Located in Melb. No bids as yet and stating bid of about $500 I think. No shifter with it though.

Gday redgum78,i saw that but its a manual console.Doh!,Ive found a thread on challenger cuda site and im thinking they are pretty good so im buying a new console and all related bits,i also need p/s column for fllor shift and a 70 slapstick shifter,can anybody help.cheers mate.

HI, i'm in Perth. All that stuff you can get from USA Ebay. I have got some great stuff off US ebay. But sounds like you are fussy so prob best if you buy as much as possible that is new or repro. I have to keep in a budget so i buy mostly good (hopefully) used stuff. My 71 Challenger had a very average, bordering on poor, auto console which was green. I repainted it black and i will be selling that one day cheap to someone like me who just has a car that is used as a daily driver. It is getting a manual, so i already have the manual console.
