Hi! Long time since I posted something but now I have a question: I have a 1970 Challenger SE & just ordered a new decal set to my standard dash instrument panel since the old one is a bit worn. Found out that NONE of them looked like mine. It says Panel instead of Dimmer, also the "lettering" is different. Is my panel from a Cuda or any other Challenger year?

I am quite confident that your panel is the correct one. It is not the first thing that anyone decides to switch. There is simply no reason for doing that, except for swithing to a rallye cluster maybe.

The switch bezel in the pic below is said (In an ad) to be from a 1970 Challenger (PART NUMBER 2947782.) . It is identical to yours. It is another evidence that your panel is the correct one.

Here is a pic of my old bezel. I find it very odd that they used two different texts ("panel" vs. "dimmer") My idea is that they used two different bezel suppliers.

These repro parts... (I am sorry to say that.) Built to fit all but fits none instead! In my world, it should be HARD to spot a difference between a repro part and a NOS part. It shouldn´t be an obvious difference.

An examle: Some time ago, I bought a set of j-bolts to keep the gas tank firmly attached to the body. Guess what? It was impossible to assamble them without a lot of grinding. Isn´t that really bad?

Thanks Christer! Well I've been out on quite a music dirge lately, as always..., but there's always the Challenger in the back of my head. Sometimes I just don't have time to fix or follow things up and last year was just like that. Have a bunch of stuff that's laying in the garage waiting to be taken care of. Anyway, I don't really know what to do now since I wanted the exact replica of it but with lettering that I can see. Maybe I just stick one of them on anyway and live with the Dimmer instead of the Panel...

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the wording was changed on the labels during production from 70 to 74. I don't exactly remember when they said it was done. I have seen the correct labels advertised on Ebay that you're looking for. If you do a search you should be able to find then. I still run across then occasionally while surfing for parts on Ebay.
