deputy fixed quarter windows

Postby Thedeputy » 05 Nov 2008 19:15

Hi Gang,
I'm slowly putting my challenger deputy back together and am now in the process of installing the rear quarter windows. They are supposed to be fixed in place. When I bought the car it was equipped with tracks to make it go up and down.
Does anyone have any idea how they were supposed to be fixed in place? I have a 70 shopmanual, but there are no references to the deputy model.
Pics would be nice as well.

I see you finally found your answer on another forum.

I knew the standard regulator was bolted in place but had never seen how. A picture is worth a thousand words as they say.

So I thought I would post the photo you found here for reference.

Thanks Dave,

I fixed it the same way. I just manufactured some washers for the center bolt. It works great.
